Sure the name is ironic, but with a house full of geeky parents, a 2-year-old spaz, and three pets, something exciting is bound to happen.

Seleta: I got the impression he was walking to the station because his shift was over. Maybe he was on an urgent call, but more than likely he just forgot.

Marcus: You so crazy!

Adorable. Isn't it crazy how dirty they get there?! Sometimes I have mine strip down on the back porch and run inside buck naked. Ha ha!!! It's also crazy how much Falco looks just like you AND Matt. How is that because you both have such different features?

Oh, the wonder of children.

Meanwhile, the cop was locked in a life-and-death struggle with a knife-wielding assailant. Cue tense action music. They rolled on the ground, desparately fighting for control of the knife. The attacker gained the high ground, and it was brawn versus brawn, as the wild-eyed attacker slowly lowered the knife toward the police officer's heart. Just when the officer thought all was lost, he found sudden strength in knowing that a young boy named Falco depended on him to keep the world safe from evil like this. His head lunged forward to headbutt the attacker. The attacker was dazed, and the cop seized advantage, turning the knife and plunging it deep into the attacker's chest. Dark blood gushed forth from the wound and onto the gasping officer. As shocked onlookers stared in respecful awe, he rose from the crumpling body of his would-be assassin. Cue triumphant music. What had seemed like hours had transpired in a mere 41 minutes. He grabbed the roll of bloodied stickers and headed back to meet Falco...

That's sad!!! Maybe he got called on an urgent call? Maybe you can explain to Falco that policemen are kind of like Superman. They have to go help others when they're in trouble. It's great he's not scared of policemen!

Thanks, Cara. It helps to know that my kid isn't the only one saying stuff like that. He said it to me again this morning because he got mad that I wouldn't let him carry his very full, glass plate to the table. I realized that it's reasonable for him to get mad at me for not letting him do what he wants, and it doesn't mean our relationship is crumbling. Also, I want him to leave ME alone sometimes too! (I just don't tell him so.)
