I have arrived.
We’re back from Tahoe. Falco is pooping on the potty (with still a good bit of anxiety), and he is less bratty than when we were on our trip. You are now up to speed on the past week.
Moving on… I’m starting Falco back in swim classes beginning tomorrow. He went to classes at this pool from 6 to 18 months, but then I got tired of the ordeal and the teachers and the songs, so we took a break. In the meantime, they remodeled the entire pool, and we’re ready to give it another try with some of our friends.
What this means is, I will be entering the pool. In a swimsuit. In daylight. I’m a mom, a mom who likes wine and food. That doesn’t make for a svelte body. So, I’m looking online for a new suit, and I’m currently browsing swim dresses. Could anything be more matronly? At the same time, what could be better than a bathing suit with industrial strength spandex (powermesh it’s called) and a skirt to cover my rear? Matronly or not, it sounds better than the skimpy alternative. Wish me luck in my hunt.

Good luck, Andi! If you find something you like, let me know. We’re considering a trip to the beach this summer, so I’ll also need something to cover up what even I don’t care to look at..
