Last year, I made custom stockings for the pets.
Rosco’s is denim with silver stripes, Adelaide’s is
fleece, and Miu’s is red sequined that is supposed to
look kind of like fish scales. This left Matt and I
with boring, store-bought stockings. That was a
problem.

So, the weekend after Thanksgiving, we went to the
fabric store together and chose materials for our own
stockings. It was tough to narrow down our choices,
but ultimately Matt chose skulls and crossbones, and I
chose pink snowmen. Quite appropriate, I’d say. So,
here they are. You can see the pets’ stockings as
well.

I’m sorry for the major delay in giving a bathroom
update. The project has actually been finished for
about 10 days, and I think I was so excited to have it
done that I let the blogging slide. Anyway, here are
photos from the next to last day (11/22). At this
point, all that was left was grouting one of the walls
and the floor, replacing the threshold, and finishing
painting. Since the painting is our job, of course it
still isn’t finished. We have so many unfinished
painting projects in this house because neither of us
ever really want to do it. After we’ve actually done
that, I’ll post final photos.
